New Version of "Aviation Weather" Released

The FAA has released a new version of “Aviation Weather” (AC 00-6B) which you can buy as a book (the previous version) or download the newest version for free from this link:

Its companion volume is “Aviation Weather Services” (AC 00-45G) which details the types of reports published by the National Weather Service for aviation use has also been updated  It can be downloaded from this link:

I've downloaded and been all over the FAA site (Advisory Circulars) to try and purchase a copy of each. No luck so far.

Any suggestions for the purchase of the hard copies?

They don't sell hard copies. You can have one made at an office supply store if you want.

Any of the online pilot shops should have them, but you might want to make sure it is the new versions before you order.
