GAMA Q3 Results

Piston shipments down 3.5% overall GA down 14.4% from same period last year. 

 

Flight Design shipped 13 in Q1, 0 in Q2, 6 in Q3.

 

“There’s no way to sugarcoat the fact that these numbers are not what we had wanted to see,” GAMA President and CEO Pete Bunce said.

I'm wondering if sales such as the AVIAT/AOPA re-imagined Cessna programs are considered "used" aircraft sales and, if so, would including their sales numbers as "new" sales improve the GAMA data?  They sure do look new with impressive upgrades and freshening.
