INOX lubricant works very well. Only requires a little bit. A drop here and there with the "needle injector." Food grade, of course! https://www.amazon.com/INOX-MX5-TEFLON-LUBRICANT-30/dp/B00KSJV76Y/ref=pd_sim_263_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00KSJV76Y&pd_rd_r=BZX1WSYNH8468NBNY7TQ&pd_rd_w=4AEHg&pd_rd_wg=kw54T&psc=1&refRID=BZX1WSYNH8468NBNY7TQ
Roger Lee
Could use Inox there, but it's a little too runny. I usually use a tad on my fingertip and apply it to the rails to keep the plastic from grinding itself down over time. Just a dab'll do you. Just Like Brylcreem. ct9000
Try a bit of silicon spray wax, it is used on timber rails on draws to stop sticking it also works well on acrylics.

Keep in mind readers: he means silicone :-). Searching for silicon will probably give you information on the metalloid instead of the synthetic rubber which uses silicon in it! 207WF
I use the window cleaner, plexus. It has some wax in it and will lube without any mess. WF
FlyingMonkey
I have used silicone grease. It stays put longer than sprays and is easily applied with a Q-Tip.
Roger Lee
I also use silicone grease at every annual. Just a light coat on the rails. I also use it on the door pins and the door handle where it rubs when you open and close the handle.
