With 125hp motor its faster than a CT, today many have 200hp, 180hp or 160hp. Here's a nother that I've flown that smokes a CT with far less hp. Tom Baker
I have a buddy who has a close to 180mph plane on 100hp. He could out run the CT while doing rolls around it.

We need to compare LSA planes! Maybe the 120 knot thing makes it a mute point.
Ed Cesnalis
After flying a CT for 11 years I admire all 2-seaters that are faster than 120kts. Until a gear-up take-off a year ago I would sometimes fly in my friends Europa with a 914 that could do 155kts and climb to 16k as fast as I climb to 10k. The 120kt limitation makes all LSA the same unless they are slower or cheaters.
FlyingMonkey
Yeah, I have a friend with a Glasair I TD that does over 200mph on 180hp. His "economy cruise" setting is 180mph. That's with a fixed-pitch prop!
sandpiper
My neighbors RV-12 can out climb and outrun me.
