CT4ME
I believe there is, for those who need it, a companion product that does IN. Otherwise, Stratux, Scout, or maybe Garmin GDL-39...?
coppercity
That is correct, an IN counterpart is in the works, or you could keep your Nav lights and use the Echo UAT for both. Lots of options!
Eagle Wings USA
I'm wondering if them configuration of the CT wings will interfere with the operation of the unit since most wings do not curve down on the tips
Duane Jefts
I visited their booth at Oshkosh a couple days ago. They said if you want additional information call 844 827-2372 extension 2 and talk to Shane. He should be able to answer all your questions. The unit weighs 2.61 ounces. and is very small. FredG
Eric, I saw the Sky Beacon at OSH and thought it was very clever. My only question is whether there is any issue with the ground plane for the ASDB-out antenna if mounted on a plastic airplane? Thanks, Fred

Thanks, Fred Fred, The units are being tested on a Cessna with the fiberglass wingtip and are working great so apparently the built-in antenna doesn't need additional ground plane. Ed Cesnalis
@FredG Our wingtips may be fiberglass but our planes are carbon fiber.
WmInce
In Foreflight's latest release, they announced new support for uAvionix EchoUAT. So now, using Foreflight, you can see wx and traffic, via EchoUAT, on your iPad. It just keeps getting better and better.

coppercity
Got back from Page this afternoon and spent 10 minutes installing the Skybeacon on our CTLS. With the adapter plate I made there are no modifications to the wingtip. MRA in progress and hopefully approval for flying soon to test it out ?.
