Buckaroo
I need some new tires in Tundra size. Are these the best and where to purchase? Thanks Dave
Tom Baker
Desser is the place to buy them. 6.00x 6 6ply if you have tundra gear.

Buckaroo
Do I need to get new tubes if this is just a warn tire issue? Those damn things are $45 bucks!
Tom Baker
I personally will not replace a tire without replacing the tubes on any tubed aircraft tire. Call it the once bitten twice shy mentality. A tube will stretch out over time as the tire stretches out. The inside of the new tire will not be as big as the old tire, and the tube will not have enough space to lay out smoothly. You will wind up with a wrinkled tube that can lead to a failure down the road, or a pinched tube with a more abrupt failure.
