coppercity
Had to take Cheryl to Tucson early this morning and caught a great tailwind on the way home. Why not play around and see how slow I could cross the ground I couldn't catch the gps right at 0.0 but did manage to fly backwards at about 8kts and got to 1.9 kts groundspeed ? Tom Baker
It is hard to catch a GPS at zero ground speed. I have had mine right there also, with the ground track heading jumping around all different directions.
Runtoeat
Those jackrabbits must have thought there was a real big hawk overhead.
Duane Jefts
At that speed, a few fuel stops would have to be in order for what is normally a 1 hour flight plus or minus a little. I know 173LM is good for at least 5.5 hours as that is what it took to fly from Friday Harbor Washington to Ketchikan, AK.
