Big Les
I have a 2013 CTLS with Tundra tires. I’d like to order to some spare tubes to have in the the hangar just in case. What size tubes are they, and are they straight or angled valves? Any particular brand ? Thanks. Les
Roger Lee
Get them from Desser tire on line. These are 6.00 x 6 tubes. Get heavy duty butyl tubes with the 90 degree stem which is called a T87 stem.. You can ask them to balance tires you buy. make sure you ALWAYS balance your tires after you mount them on your wheel. I have NEVER seen a tire in balance without weights. https://www.desser.com/Aircraft-Tires-and-Tubes/15-600-6-AERO-CLASSIC-INLEAKGUARD-IN-BUTYL-TUBE-AERO-CLASS-GL-1587.asp Looks like our president's tariffs has driven prices up by about $20 per tube. Wow They used to be around $40 a tube.

Tom Baker
This is the one you want for the nose tire on the CTLS, or any of the 4.00x6 tires. https://www.desser.com/Aircraft-Tires-and-Tubes/13-500-6-400-6-AERO-CLASSIC-BUTYL-AIRCRAFT-INNER-TUBE-AERO-CLASS-GL-4087.asp

People who buy these need to make sure the bend is also specified. You can commonly end up with a TR87 70 degree (these are great for other GA aircraft that don't use hubcaps) or a TR87 90 degree. On matco wheels on CTs, they are not interchangeable, people must make sure they are buying the 90 degree TR87!
