Ed Cesnalis
I use Garmin Pilot and love that it logs my flights and shows stats that I wouldn't normally know. On my photo flights I generally max above 13,000'. 145kts max ground speed. 105kts avg ground speed etc. Is it worth the expensive Garmin Transponder so I can keep Garmin Pilot going with ADSB? Warmi
I love the stats as well .. Mine are very similar to yours except of course the max altitude hehe Why would you need a new transponder to keep the Garmin Pilot ? I assume you are currently using a GDL 39 device for ADSB in so that doesn't need to change at all.
Roger Lee
Ed, Being an analytical realist like I am I would ask this of myself. Why do you care about stats at this stage and all these years? You know where you fly, how you fly and how fast. What's it doing for you that you can't live without? Would it affect how, why , when and where you fly?
