DJ Todd B
I was browsing the internet and found this little Gem that we could go to during the Page Fly-In next year. Anyone interested?? https://www.bar10.com/about-the-ranch/

solarguy54
A few years ago we did a week raft trip down the Grand Canyon. The chopper picked us up at the end and dropped us off at Bar 10 where we waited for the commuter flight back to Marble Canyon. Bar 10 is a neat little place. VERY quiet... Olav
Sounds like it might be a good and different breakfast stop. We can all maybe pack a brunch bag and picnic there? Good idea Todd. So with this, sound off everyone. Is this a good addition to the Page Fly-in daily destination options?
Mike Koerner
Olav, If you let them know in advance, I think the Bar 10 Ranch would make you a real fine breakfast or lunch, though it might be a bit expensive. I've flown into the Bar 10 airstrip, but I have not been up to the ranch house. My reason for landing there was based on the wording of the Grand Canyon special flight rules. As long as you're landing or taking off from an airport within the area you have permission to transition through it. You get nice canyon views from areas that would otherwise be prohibited. Amazing how poor my climb performance was on the way out. I have landed at Marble Canyon after each of my Page outings for the same reason, but also because there's unleaded fuel available across the street. UCFKnight1039
Mike- immprobably showing my ignorance, but how do you get the unleaded fuel across the streeet to you Aircraft? thanks,Gary
DJ Todd B
I carry ONE empty 5 gal fuel jug in the back but i think TWO will fit. I did it 2 years ago at Marble canyon.

Mike Koerner
I carry empty 6-gal and a 5-gal plastic gas jugs (together they actually hold 12 gallons), a light-weight folding dolly and a light-weight folding step stool whenever I go cross-country. Working with the hotels and other sites needed to lock in availability. "Stay tuned" for the announcement with dates within a couple of weeks.
