Student with108.8 total hours. 32.8 hours in plane of which 6.4 hours were solo. 8.6 hours in plane in previous 90 days. Tower switched his traffic pattern direction just prior to third touch and go. Winds were increasing significantly within an hour’s time. Tragic. Preliminary report link on this page.
