GPS has stayed very reliable in my experience.  My alternate nav method is my eyeballs and the sectionals on my iPad.

Considering unexpected GPS outage or spoofing, one may also consider: HH VOR and ATC flight following—traffic advisories/ radar navigation based on Transponder squawk.

fellas, other than a sectional and whisky compass, what’s your alternate means of nav? Maybe a HH with VOR, or ?

Good morning
Can you appear on Flight Radar 24 using the GDL82?

I imagine its the same as Flight Aware.  I can do local flights where I never get high enough to see any ground stations and then I don't appear but if go high enough like above 3,000' or near a ground station then I seem to appear.

Flight Radar 24 wants me to do a trial to see the data for my airplane, so I can't answer that question. If you want to search N41718 you can. It is equipped with a GDL82.
