Trip
Will an official carry-on size of 9”x14”x22” fit through the opening or is a duffle bag the only way to go?
Duane Jefts
Plastic garbage bags work really well and don't add much to the weight.
KentWien
On a CTsw, it's tough. I managed with a smaller roll-aboard once and then switched to some nice LL Bean duffle bags.
FlyingMonkey
I have an FAA-sized carry bag I use for trips. It's soft sided and fits in the baggage bay of my CTSW, but it's tight. There's no way this would work with a hard-sided FAA standard bag. Here's the one I use. I picked it in case I ever get stuck by weather or mechanical issues and need to take a commercial flight home: https://www.maxpedition.com/products/fliegerduffel-adventure-bag?variant=36683506513
AGLyme
When you place bags in the baggage compartments... do you bungy-cord everything down? My concern is that everything is going to bounce around and get caught in the various gizmos near the ceiling. Thank you in advance, Andrew
MEH
I bought motorcycle bungee cargo nets from ebay and they work great. Cheap. Flexible hook locations/size. And they look like they belong in a cargo hold.
Andy A
We have a CTLSi and I would say no, the standard size carry on will not fit. In my experience, duffel bags (or other soft sided bags) are the only thing that will fit.

AGLyme
I figured, thanks... I haven't put anything back there yet. The net is a very good idea, too much going on back there to risk a bump.
