Roger Lee
Got up this morning with a couple inches of snow on the ground. Time to have a snowball fight with the dogs and then go fly to see the snow covered valley. The desert is stunning with a snow blanket. Time to play, see ya later. Roger Lee
I just got back from flying. What a nice morning. Although I lost the snow ball fight with the darn dog again.
Runtoeat
Bet it is pretty there with the snow. We're about to reach the snowiest February on record here in Michigan. Closing in on 30" this month alone. Still not as bad as some of the States to our East.

Runtoeat
He, he. That was 5 FEET and not 5 INCHES recently, right?? Is there any local airports that stay open? If so, how do they stay open with 450" (37.5 feet) of snow?

sandpiper
Valdez, Alaska averages 400 inches a year. They keep the airport open with lots of $$ and big equipment. The road into Valdez averages 1000 inches over thompson and they keep that open with, you guessed it, more $$$ and more big equipment.
