procharger
My 2007 Ct in summer has always shown low pressure alarm off and on, last two days after flying for a while make a landing shut down few minutes do run up all is good take off start losing power like its fuel problem, first start up of the day it has always shown 5 LBS fuel pressure then as it warms up it normally drops to around 3 LBS but now it showing 1 to 2 off and on runs fine alarm light flashing this has been going on for years but until now has not acted up, first I thought might be vapor lock. I checked carb bowls they were clean removed sender clean wires and blew some air into it make sure its not stopped up. My question is do these fuel pumps go bad and it has always run like its supposed to when this was going on before until now ?? Why does pressure drop off after first start of the day is this normal? Always done it over the years but not like this. Never had any issues like this.
Tom Baker
A few things. Winter fuel with the hot temperatures. Drain the fuel and add fresh, or add in some 100LL. The orifice in the vapor return could be plugged. It could be the fuel pump.
