Bill3558
I will be leaving my plane unattended in an open hanger for 6 weeks. Would it be better to leave it topped off with 93 octane mogas or half full and fill it with fresh fuel when I get back?
Jim Meade
Any ethanol in the mogas?
GrassStripFlyBoy
Regardless of whatever you do for fuel situation, probably wise to shut off the fuel valve with the engine still running and deplete the fuel FWF so it does not sit in bowls and such. Could pull and clean the bowls to leave them stored completely dry as well.
procharger
I work at an airport we sell 93 mogas is can stay in a tank for quite awhile before anything starts to happen 6 wks should not be a problem real mogas has no ethanol in it however I would top off the tanks full add sea foam its a great stabilizer I like it much better than other gas additives. Roger Lee
Some Stabil or Sea Foam fuel stabiliser or add some 100LL and fly it a bit to get the 100LL through the entire system.
