Ken
For those that use the screw off plugs #4339 DCPR8E NAPA has them on sale where I live for $2.71 each. I have read some many options on the plug gap from .018 to .035 on various Rotax sites. What are the opinions here on a Rotax 912 100 HP 2006? GrassStripFlyBoy
Hi Ken, I had similar questions a while back, here's the trail: Plug Gap - Engine/Rotax - CT Flier Forum
Ken
Thanks I did read through that .024 seems to be the consensus. Although, Lockwood says .028.
Roger Lee
The maint. manual is .023 to .027 for the NGK's. Most use .025 just because it's in the middle. If you start at the widest gap it will only get wider.
sandpiper
I've used .025 for 14 years that I've owned my plane. Never a problem.
