Pierce
One of my flight club pilots sent me this picture. I’m sourcing rubber for replace but I’m a little confused on which air intake this is. Anyone able to help? Thanks
Tom Baker
That is for cabin heat. It is 2mm neoprene rubber from memory. I'm not sure on the size of rivets, but I have a box of large head 3/16" aluminum rivets that I use when replacing that piece. You have to lay it out and cut it. I wraps around5 sides, doubled up on one side. A utility knife and straight edge work well for cutting it. You will probably need a pneumatic rivet puller to pull the rivet, but they are fairly inexpensive at Harbor Freight.
Pierce
Thanks. That’s what I thought it was. Since we live in Tennessee and we haven’t seen temps less than 70 in weeks I think we’ll be ok while I wait to get the parts.
