546CharlieTango
How many hours does it typically take to install the Matco conversion on a 2008 CTLS?
Tom Baker
Not to long, maybe 3-4 hours. The biggest thing is trimming off the corner of landing gear leg to clear the caliper. The next is bleeding the brakes after you are done. Other than that it is 4 bolts per side.
GrassStripFlyBoy
Hey 546CT, I'm interested in buying the Marc wheels if you're planning on selling them. Thanks, Darrell

Not being in the business of working on airplanes, it took me a little longer. But, it was an easy process and well worth making the upgrade. Madhatter
If you want my Marc wheels and brakes just pay the freight. One wheel has a bad bearing, other than that they are good.

What about installing Matco's on a CTSW is more complicated? Also, Do you have an idea where a person obtains an LOA or MRA for a conversion to Matco ? Thanks Phil
Tom Baker
The way the CTLS is set up you generally don't have to mess with alignment. The CTSW you have to mount the adapter, then adjust shims to set the alignment when mounting the axles. Nothing difficult, just a little more time consuming. I put the fleet approval in the other post where you asked.
