207WF
It's a black rubber O-ring. Does anyone know where to get these for a CTSW? WF
Tom Baker
This old thread has some info on o-rings. It is amazing what the search function can do.
FlyingMonkey
I found the correct o-ring size somewhere (the Maintenance manual maybe?) and ordered a bag of ten Viton rings in that size from Grainger. I replace both every few years. In the CTSW, these o-rings will bind up a little when dry. Put a little lithium grease on them and they'll be much smoother and easier to tighten for a couple of months. re-apply as needed.

Roger Lee
Just use a set of calipers and it will tell you the I.D., O,D. and rubber ring thickness.
