RichardT
My version of a pvc foot rest. Wife loves it. Works perfectly.

RichardT
Thanks. It only weighs 17 ounces.
Jim Meade
Does it simply sit in place? Is there anything to prevent it moving and possibly jamming a rudder pedal?
RichardT
Fair question. It is very stable with 5 contact points. Does not move around at all. And rock solid with the passenger’s feet resting against it. I feel it is safe to use.
MileHighCTLS
G Quote Genius! That solves one big complaint from passengers.

It stays in place, doesn't move around.
sandpiper
I might modify mine to match RichardT's. His has 5 points of contact, the one I have has 4.
Jim Meade
Why doesn't she just put her purse down and rest her feet on it? Put a plastic bag on the purse so it doesn't get dirty. Cheaper and no less safe. Anyone who thinks these foot rests are stable and won't move around in bad turbulence or if a person gets a foot caught wrong under them is fooling themselves. To each his own. I think they're safe until they aren't and then they may kill you.
