Jim Meade Posted November 9, 2022 Report Share Posted November 9, 2022 Many of us have ELSA Flight Design aircraft, and therefore may make changes to the plane. There is a large Maintenance section, with various subsections under it. When I see maintenance, I think of trouble shooting or fixing something, not changing things. Yet, I see E-PROPS and other modifications under maintennance. I suspect this occurred because initially modifications were not very plentiful and the moderator didn't foresee a need for such a category. I recommend a forum section or category called modifications be added as a major subcategory or forum. It helps avoid any confusion that a prop or radio change is "fixing something" when it is actually changing something, and it would gather ELSA activities in a common area which would help avoid someone misunderstanding that the modification was legal in the SLSA airplane without approval.
