Bill3558
I will be storing my CTLSi in a hanger starting January to April. Should I fill the tanks and add Stabil, or run tanks low, tape over the vent, and fill with fresh fuel when I get back? Thoughts?
Anticept
Don't tape over vents. Either fill completely or empty completely. I would suggest just filling with avgas or ethanol free gas if you can find any. I can't comment on using sta-bil. No idea if it will interact with the coating in the wing. Tom Baker
I would run it low and add some 100LL, then run it long enough to get it through the engine. 100LL is very stable, and will stay good in the tank for a long time. When you get ready to go back in service you can add autofuel back in.
GlennM
Prior to using 94UL, I used 93 ethanol-free mogas with Stabil for about 11 years with no issues.
