ODowneyEng Posted December 20, 2022 Report Share Posted December 20, 2022 I placed a heavy duty 30 amp fused cigar lighter receptacle through the firewall, wired directly to battery. Was able to jump a dead battery a few times with one of those Lithium lightweight jumper packs from Homedepot. Makes it very safe doing a jumper start from the Pilot seat and no one is the wiser. Mike Koerner Posted December 20, 2022 Report Share Posted December 20, 2022 Oliver, You may already know this, but I believe one of the essential factors in sizing a fuse is to make sure it protects the wiring.
