Cold Weather Flying

I’ve been gone a while and flew my CTLSi today for the first time in 6 weeks. It was cold, in the low 20s. Performance was spectacular as you can imagine in the dense air, but my goodness the plane was noisy. It was making whistling and creaking noises that I never hear when it’s warmer.
Any of you guys experience this? I’m assuming it’s nothing to worry about, but it sounded like a Cessna stall warning blaring through my headset, but when I took the HS off, the sound was just part of the loud cacophony.

I've noticed the same here Bill. It seemed to be on circuits with a decent crosswind while up in the pattern. My flight instructor was commenting on it.

I did have the seems re-taped recently and thought it might be because of the gap at the bottom of the elevator at the hinge area. The AME said they can't tape that gap, that it needs a strip of mylar in there so they never did it. I still don't hear that strange wind wine anymore so am wondering if it has to do with the cold.

Sounded to me like a high wind in the telephone wires. Strange but no effect on flight and nothing that can be observed on the outside of the plane.
