procharger
Right side EGT wires where do they connect, wires go in fire sleeve do they connect inside firewall or out? thanks
Roger Lee
Yes the right EGT wire goes through the fire wall. Just remove the right instrument panel and you can see the two spade connectors from the EGT. Just unplug them and pull them back through the fire wall opening. Then slide the new wire back into the instrument panel and plug it in. Done. It's fairly easy.

Roger Lee
If the hole in the fire wall is too small take a Dremel and make it a tad bigger.

Mike Koerner
When working with the wires in the bundle that goes through the firewall, make sure that the wires are protected from the edge of the firewall opening. If the wires rub against the edge, the carbon fiber it will eat through their insulation. Carbon fiber composites are not great electrical conductors, but good enough to short out a power wire and burn.
Anticept
What I did for mine is get some of that edge guard material that is used around the cargo bay for example and got it installed to act as an edge protector. Firesleeve is another great choice but installing it would be an absolute pain. Could probably ziptie some oversized sleeve that is cut open over the bundle and that could work.
