Roger Lee
The carb vent tube in all the CT's with the air filter in the top of the cowling should consider this. The carb vent tube that goes from one carb and runs through the airbox and over to the other carb has 3 holes cut in it. This placement of the tube and the holes help balance the carb. If the tube gets pulled out too far on either side and one of the holes become exposed the carbs become unbalanced and the engine will run a little rough. Just pull the tube back from the other side to get all the holes in the airbox. I would take some tie wraps and put one on either side to keep the vent tube from moving left or right. 207WF
I tried the tie wraps and made a mistake with that. Too tight and one of them crimped the tube. Not right away, but after a while the tie wrap flattened the tube and I ended up with a rough engine. We took the tie wrap off, put on some epoxy to hold the tube in place, and now all is well.
