Ken
https://sideslipaviation.com/ Has anyone used them for any parts? If you have what was your impression of the quality and service? Part number 961267 at slipstream $28.56 at aircraft spruce $
Jacques
sideslipaviation is associated with Loravia in France which is the distributor for the Zongshen engines ( Chinese 912 copies) https://loravia.com/shop/en/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=18 so, it ''might'' not be the original Rotax part but ...for THIS particuliar part (961267/2 ) I would go for it if you look at Categories/bing 64 you will see lower prices too same for the oil filters etc etc I ordered an Purflux oil filter and a ''noname'' carb rubber flange to have a look they ''look'' the same buyer beware
Ken
Thanks for the info. On their website, I think they tell you the source for each part they sell. These are listed as Bing.
Jacques
well not for the carburator flange I received... the web site says ''compatible'' and no parts # on the flange itself

Anticept
I believe these are one of the custom built carb parts for rotax, no surprise. Our carbs are spring loaded full power, in motorcycles they're spring loaded to idle.
Jacques
nope. these are 912 carbs https://sideslipaviation.com/collections/bing-64 all this comes from Loravia ,which is looooong time ´aviation stuf' seller/importer https://loravia.com/shop/en/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=
Anticept
What I am saying is that these bing 64 carbs are largely similar to those used on some older motorcycles but they have a few changes. Different floats The riser inside of the venturi on the 912 ULS is unique to ULS. And I believe those vertical arms are different from the motorcycle ones because they're designed for full power spring loading. Or maybe it's the throttle arm that's different. Jacques
don't know about motorbike carbs, but the subject here , is prices difference for the same (??) 912 parts
Ken
I will let you know when I receive the parts if they are stamped with the correct part number. They have a 30 days return policy.
opticsguy
I've had a leak in one carb since day one. It's where the throttle linkage is. Multiple rebuilds, and still a leak. Maybe replacing the whole thing is the way to go.
