Bill3558
I didn’t notice this before, but after annual my stick doesn’t center. Check the video. Question: Is fiddling with aileron spring tension an annual inspection item? I can’t be 100% sure it wasn’t like this before. I need to fly the plane more to see if it’s an issue in flight. Anticept
Not an issue unless it wants to roll over in flight. There's return springs but they're kind of an assistance thing rather than true centering mechanisms.
Bill3558
Thank you. That is a relief.
shiny.ice
Check to see if those return springs popped off the studs in the baggage compartment. Had that happen when I was renting one of Eric's CTs.
MileHighCTLS
Springs get weak and wear out.
Madhatter
I would rather not have the springs but I don't know if they serve as an anti flutter function. I'm used to low resistance controls in all the aircraft I fly.
Bill3558
The airplane flies just fine. Controls are balanced in flight. So I am not going to worry about it.
