Tom Baker Posted July 14, 2023 Report Posted July 14, 2023 Who's service bulletin? Maybe a link to the SB would be helpful. Quote
Towner Posted July 14, 2023 Report Posted July 14, 2023 It’s from Rotax. I already deleted my email because my engine serial number wasn’t included. Quote
Anticept Posted July 14, 2023 Report Posted July 14, 2023 Are you two referring to this one? ASB-912-077 / SB-914-058SB-912-077UL / SB-914-058UL 1.3) Reason Due to a deviation in the manufacturing process, some stator assemblies may fail on one ignition circuit. 1.4) Subject Exchange of stator assy. for ROTAX® 912 (Series) and 914 (Series) Aircraft Engines. Mike Koerner Posted July 15, 2023 Report Posted July 15, 2023 It looks like it’s probably a fairly recent manufacturing problem in that it only aplies to 120 engines and the 912 ULS serial numbers are about 4 million higher than my 2004... but I don't know how their serialzation works and you should check for your own serial number anyway.
