Rudder pedal weld cracked

Pulled out the pedal had it fixed weld cracked at bottom if you attempt this job

you will lose your religion, worst thing I have ever done in my 68 years. Anyone

else ever done this?

Yep hate the rudder pedal assembly and the insane difficulty in reaching that bottom rear screw. And the fact that the clearance is less than most sockets.

I had one crack.  I replaced it with a good used pedal.  So, yes, I have done it.  Didn't like it.

I've done a couple. I remember them being time consuming,  but not to difficult.
