FlyingMonkey
I went to order some replacement carb sockets and the associated o-rings. But there are two o-rings available, one 44mm and one 47mm. The 44mm o-ring is listed as for "older" 912/914 engines, and the 47mm for "newer" engines. It said to refer to the illustrated parts catalog for serial number ranges. But I don't see that info in the latest Rotax illustrated parts catalog, and it only lists the 47mm o-ring. Does anybody know where I can find the serial numbers? Or is it as simple as the engines with the newer scalloped valve covers use the newer 47mm ones, and the rounded covers like mine use the old 44mm?
