Warren
Hi, I have removed my control colums in my CTLS to have them reupholsterd, I was wondering if anybody has a picture or know how the auto pilot wires are attached to the control colum disconect switch, I've played with it but can't figure it out. One of the steel connectors has broken off the wire , is there a replacement switch you can install if I cant get the original to work? Thanks Warren
Madhatter
I don't know what autopilot you have but most autopilot disconnect switches are momentary switches with no specific polarity. Switches should be easily available to match the hole. Probably Aircraft Spruce has them.
Tom Baker
One wire goes to the AP, and the other to ground. I have actually made a jumper from the AP switch to the PTT for the ground.
