sonas Posted June 6, 2024 Report Posted June 6, 2024 Recently flew a short trip and thought i would check out flat and level at 2000 feet -6 flaps rpm was 5800 any idea how much to add to get it close to 5500, i know i can get it but it will take me 3 tries...maybe you guys can narrow it down to 1 or 2! thanks Quote
Tom Baker Posted June 6, 2024 Report Posted June 6, 2024 Probably in the neighborhood of 1.5 to 2 degrees. Quote

It matches your best performance altitude with your best speed pitch. Quote
wyattcooper Posted August 22, 2024 Report Posted August 22, 2024 Hi, Since your current RPM is 5800 and you want to lower it to 5500, you'll need to decrease the throttle slightly. Start by reducing the throttle by about 5-10% and observe the RPM change. Thanks Quote
