If anyone would like to evacuate to N GA (actually Copperhill, TN 1A3), let me know and I can try to get you space in the community hangar. We can put up a few people in either our house or our rental home (no charge, of course). Don't wait until the last minute to plan an escape. Let me know if I can help out in any way. Tip Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Four of us were set to travel from PA to the Bahamas on Thursday in two CTs. Six months of planning. If the hurricane doesn't turn North, we will head for Panama City, FL.
wlfpckrs Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Tip, if it makes you feel any better, we had to postpone our first flight to the Bahamas because of lousy weather, too. It was still beautiful and wonderful when we finally DID make the flight!
