mocfly
Any idea what would cause this? Looks like some sort of feedback from the beacon. I have never seen this before. IMG_0076.MOV
Roger Lee
Looks like a bad connection or ground. Did this just start? Is the mag drop normal? Is any other instrument affected? Do you notice anything like an engine miss?
mocfly
Never noticed before. All other instruments ok. No engine miss. Mag drop normal. Of course this happened on the flight down to get the annual done.
rookie
I had a similar experience one time when I forgot the generator switch. About 20 min after take off I noticed a rhythmic drop on the tach, just as I see on your video. About the same time I also noticed a voltage drop and figured out where the problem was. Obviously your generator switch was in but I wonder if the problem might be associated with low voltage since it didn't show up for me until the voltage dropped. Anyway for what it worth dept. al meyer
