Jim Meade
I am going to buy a digital inspection camera (bore scope) for use in a number of applications. One application would be the CTSW with Rotax 912/ULS. What is the inside clearance of the spark plug thread? In other words, what is the maximum size head the camera could have to go into the spark plug hole? If there is another narrow or tight application that influences the size I buy, please let me know the size.
gisurvey
Hello Jim, 10mm width camera works for me in almost all aplications related to my CT/Rotax [inclusive for some cylinder inspection through spark plugs holes]. Sure, could be nice to have a tight one with a smaller bend radius and a more powerful light, but I don't know if is worth the price. http://www.conrad.com/VOLTCRAFT-BS-20-ENDOSCOPE.htm?websale7=conrad-intπ=122249&ci=SHOP_AREA_17624_1119061&Ctx=%7Bver%2F7%2Fver%7D%7Bst%2F3ec%2Fst%7D%7Bcmd%2F0%2Fcmd%7D%7Bm%2Fwebsale%2Fm%7D%7Bs%2Fconrad-int%2Fs%7D%7Bl%2Fint%2Fl%7D%7Bsf%2F%3Cs1%3EEndoscope%3C%2Fs1%3E%2Fsf%7D%7Bp1%2Fb989461aa892fdb8e2972c2f998df731%2Fp1%7D%7Bmd5%2F234622683271ec9677d97b6202f7ae66%2Fmd5%7D Regards, Alec
